I'm thinking Trump and Bannon are perfectly happy if the bill crashes and burns in the House.

They aren't too keen on the whole separation of powers thing. So for Congress to flounder and flop all over itself and ultimately fail in passing their own healthcare bill they'd see that as a good thing.

There's room for one King in Washington and it's not Paul Ryan in their mind. They'd gladly throw him under the bus.

They'll try to dismantle as much of the ACA by EO that they can attempt to get away with.

Trump backed it. HARD. Said it was a GREAT BILL. FAIR BILL. He worked to get people to vote for it. HE said he would easily repeal Obamacare. First thing he would do.

He lied. Again. He couldn't get it done. The man who's the world's greatest negotiator (in his mind and many of his voters) and he couldn't get it done within his own party.

He failed. Biggly.

Once he realized it was failing he dropped it like a hot potato.

It's all about the credit. No one else can get the credit but him.

I think they really did want to pass it. "See voters...I told you we would do this." Repeal, replace, blah blah. "I'm the best negotiator...blah blah."

Not now. They want it to go away by Monday.

Hey we got nothing to do with this Trumpcare mess.
Republicans did this all on their own.
Unbelievable really. They control EVERYTHING and,
after 8 years, all they can come up with is this big stinky turd??!!!
It's so pathetic. So hilariously pathetic.

But he doesn't give a SHIT about policy.

He only care about appearing to be successful and make no mistake, this is a HUGE loss.

Hopefully the rest of the country are getting better and better educated about critical thinking.

His core support won't waver, but plenty of people who held their nose to vote for him will rethink this. At the least, they will be dispirited.

...care about ANYTHING except drawing attention to himself. I never thought for a minute that he cared one way or another about health care policy in the U.S. Nor does he care about anything else. Just himself, and he'll redefine reality over and over so it reflects well on him (in his view.... and, unfortunately, in the blind view of his core supporters.)

President Shitstain gets a Hate List of those who voted against The Precious, and he'll drool over that night and day, and plot revenge, and tweet and crow as he racks up insult after insult.

He'll never let it go, he'll never do anything else except plot his Sacred Vengeance, which leaves Bannonzebub free to run the show.

He was never fully vested in this other than it being an item on his check list of campaign promises.

He would have happily claimed victory if it passed but he also had distanced himself enough in beginning if it flopped.

His crazypants news partners Brietbart and goons have already framed it as a loss for Paul Ryan.

Meanwhile, his son in law can tell his brother with the $2.7B app based on ACA to breathe easy now. Wonder what he gets out of that deal?
