I'm celebrating but we're not out of the woods, Russiagate is our only chance

to stop the repug ruination of our country. We must support Rep. Adam Schiff in his efforts to have open hearings and ideally an independent prosecutor. Call, email, tweet your reps and congress please!!! Tell them we demand this -- it worked with Trumpcare!

Please be aware that the health insurance companies are still greedy and immoral.

I fully expect my Obamacare premioum to go up hugely. I'll get a letter from Anthem/Blue Cross whining about the lack of funding through the mandate and how they had to pass the costs onto us, etc. etc.

Still, it's not nearly as bad as the fear I felt about AHCA going through. Not even about the money but about the obliteration of common sense in our country. I don't believe that the majority of repukes even understand ACA.

Our only chance here is that we get some action on Russiagate. If traitorous acts can be proven we might be able to get back on track. If not, prepare for the evils of "tax reform" and all that follows, Ryan is sharpening his fangs now.

our democracy and their minions stealing the election?

They don't have a name for it. The focus needs to be only that until we get some results.

Nunes was trying to destroy the process.

'governing' maliciously while continuing to have utter contempt for Americans. He needs to be removed for colluding with Russia for power and profit. He is a traitor.

that's why we have to push them to the wall in every way possible, all the time, every day, all day!

Just the way that runt Nunes did something that ruined his credibility, and he's not gone yet

Russiagate is a reach in my opinion. I hope it pans out, but not betting on.

Our best hope is what happens today continues. Tax reform(tax cuts for the rich) will be just as hard if not harder. They promised for 7 years to repeal the ACA and could not even do that. The tax reform they want will increase the deficit through the roof. The desire is to cut everything else to the bone. The Tea party nuts will insist on deep cuts and the so called moderates will resist the cuts. It will be a trumpcare redux thing.

Finally infrastructure...this is an are our side will be game for, but the right wing will rebel. They will scream about government spending.

For years we have made the claim that republicans can no longer govern. Many of us really did not believe it, but it sounded good. It is the truth. The guys make the Bush era republicans look like liberals. The want to burn the house down. And they may do so, but it will be on their own heads.

I think today was the biggest step to eventual single payer we have ever seen. The citizens of American now consider health care a right. Once we have a strong group of candidates espousing it we will win.

Have a nice evening.

critical right now to push so that all Americans see how corrupt they almost all are.

We have a shot at immediate discrediting of the GOP, but not if they can derail it and they're trying.

It may not be true. We are an evidence based group here, and while I agree that there is lots of smoke, we have not yet seen the fire.

I personally agree that there was nefarious shit going on. But they may well have covered their tracks well enough that we will never prove it. And we may very well be wrong. It may be totally circumstantial.

What I am saying is that while we can hope they get caught in the most diabolical plot ever in American politics, we should not plan on it. And, hell, we do not need to. Our policies are what Americans want. We need to be proud that we want single payer and a strong infrastructure program paid for by increased gas taxes. If we are loud and proud about these things we will win.

Have a very nice weekend.
