That is some lazy, cowardly, unAmerican bullshit. I know that and baseball isn't even my favorite sport.
"Scheduling conflict," my black ass. It's not like the Alien Hoard from the Planet Xzzrkzaxx is planning to invade Earth that day. What's he gotta do, hit the links? Eat a chimichanga?
Trump is once again shirking his responsibility. Fucking Cheetos dust covered slacker.

In recent years, George W was easily the best at ceremonial first pitches. It's one of the only things he ever did that impressed me.

(62,444 posts)The most impressive thing W did was dodge that thrown shoe, and come back smiling. Context aside, that was the one time he did something that made me go "Good one!" I had no idea his reflexes were that good:

(130,740 posts)for Donald Trump to toss out first pitch on Opening Day ahead of Mondays game against the Florida Marlins at Nationals Park. There was a report Trump was "in talks" with the Nationals about continuing the tradition, according to Politico Tuesday morning.
The Nats appeared to be Trumps only option among Mid-Atlantic MLB teams after John Angelos, son of Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos said on a Baltimore-based podcast hed rather not see the Commander in Chief atop the mound at Camden Yards:'>>>

(382 posts)Actually, this was not Trump's call to make...he'd already been rejected.
This is another Trump propaganda lie to cover rejection when someone dishes him consequences for his bad behavior! Back in February, Orioles VP already stated they don't want Trump throwing first pitch, at least not until he apologizes for all the offensive comments he's made about women, minorities, etc. And we all know the likelihood of that happening. Trump has probably never apologized to anyone for anything in his entire life. My father was a pathological narcissist so I have first-hand experience in that regard, altho my dad was an angel compared to Trump.
