I'd be shocked if all the major software providers don't have a contractual relationship with NSA. I'd also be shocked if some third parties haven't tried to exploit that.

And it is probably the other way around. NSA has a relationship with the software provider.

If you think something isn't legit follow Hobbit's advise in the first reply.

I actually got a virus from a link that a DU member put in a response to a post. The box popped with Adobe would like access to xxx, just like with other updates and I ended up with a virus that I spent all last weekend trying to fix. after about 50 hours I finally gave up and took it to a guy who was able to get the malware.
