He talked about "all the dead Russians" in the past couple months and they are being killed not just within Russia, meaning they are far reaching to assassinate people involved in this.
He also said he does not feel that his own government has his back. "I am on own and no one has my back."
He talked about - that our current government has not taken any actions to protect America from further Russian cyber interference. Sen. Burr (the chair) responded by saying, the committee has been aware and taken notice of this.
I thought it was chilling that a US government employee, Dr. Clinton Watts, intelligence worker, is living with such fears every day for doing his job.

(13,524 posts)considering that remark now? - I bet it made those committee members pay better attention to the proceedings going down today, if they weren't already.
Chilling indeed. Hope to see lots more of this honorable man.

(6,344 posts)I was impressed by him. His testimony was clear, clean, articulate and to the point. He was easy to listen to and follow what he was saying.

(13,524 posts)he'd be a great guest, too, because he just lays it out there and has a natural charisma and gravitas -

(11,914 posts)and Wolf asked him about that statement. Watts said he did not have any faith that our government has his back. He said he thinks it would be Trump first, Putin second, and America third.
I want to see more of him!
