Ah, Just in case you forgot why Rick Perry is an F'in Idiot

Why no ACA for Texas?:
His Response: "The issue is about freedom"

When asked about how TX ranks last in providing healthcare?:
His Response:I am sick of people pulling out random facts."

When asked what you say to those people in need?:
His Response: Pretty much, why did you move to Texas

He is speaking on Faux News (the only news network in our campground..AHHAHA)

They don't vote (or are prevented from doing so). They aren't republicans, for the most part. And they don't give him and his buds cushy jobs and bribes. So as far as he is concerned, they can all leave or die.

And until the rest of Texas kicks him out, that's the way it is going to be. The only way he accepts ACA is if the medical insurers and doctors bribe him to do so.

In that strange upside down world of right wing think the reality must be changed to...

Why did you move to Texas

They do this on so many things. it's almost like.......
The world you live in is the one you create....
or at least the one we create for you.

Rick Perry on the other hand is a Teapublican. Teapublicans create reality to suit their needs at the moment.
His answer, "Why did you move to Texas?" allows him and more importantly the 'commoners' to believe that people are moving to Texas simply to suck off the taxpayers teat.

It works in a manner similar to where if their were global warming it would cost vermin like the Koch brothers some of their fortune. To prevent this from happening the Teaparty Party must create a reality where global warming does not exist and convince their followers to obied by that reality.

Weapons of Mass Destruction is another example of where reality must be changed to suit the objective.
In some peoples reality, 36% of Teapublicans if memory serves, Iraq did have WMDs.

The audacity of someone to claim they know how to fix healthcare when he's the Governor of the state with the worst healthcare in the country is unreal...

Animal husbandry sounds dangerously close to the "man on beast" sex Rick Santorum warned against. So Perry, in his wisdom, was probably just keeping a safe distance away from temptation.

"I stand proudly with the growing chorus of governors who reject the Obamacare power grab.
Neither a 'state' exchange nor the expansion of Medicaid under this program would result in better 'patient protection' or in more 'affordable care.'
They would only make Texas a mere appendage of the federal government when it comes to health care," Perry continued.

The Federal gov't ( our taxes) pays for something like 80% of states' Medicaid.
