Stupid Right-Wing Tweets: Ron McNeil Edition

And thus, the Republican candidate for US Senate from the great state of Florida, Ron McNeal, becomes the latest in a very long line of wingnuts to compare children who receive food stamps to hungry animals. Way to keep it classy, Ron.
It's just amazing how much contempt Republicans have for their fellow Americans.

There's an endless supply of these scumballs, apparently. Thanks for the look at this new typical Republican.
Doesn't seem there should be enough sociopaths to keep voting for them. That's probably why fraudulent elections help a lot. Florida's famous for them, has been for a very long time.

(17,064 posts)Ive never even heard of the guy. The GOP front-runner is Connie Mack IV, who is about the biggest POS embarrassment the State of Florida has ever had. Thats saying a lot.

(17,064 posts)Wait till you read up on him. Drunken fights, riding on daddys name and coattails, financial improprieties, etc. Hes a real loser- therefore a teabagger favorite... ala Palin.

(43,199 posts)Not that I'm doubting you as to his underlying issues. I just really haven't heard them yet.
But as we stand, we have a Medicare fraud as governor, a war criminal as a congressman, and a diabolical "smart Bush" as an ex-Governor lurking in the shadows. Hard to beat that as a source of embarassment.

(17,064 posts)Hes a smarmy POS teabagger. Divorced his wife to marry Rep. Mary Bono, Sonny's widow. Arrested several times for drunken fights, has several bankruptcies. Lots of financial and tax problems. They each are claiming homestead exemptions on their individual homes-his in Fla, hers in Cali. I think they actually live in Cali when Congress is in recess. His father was a well known US Senator, now Junior is riding his fathers coattails and name to run against Bill Nelson for Senate. Ugh. Im going to have to hold my nose and vote for Nelson this time-they polling pretty close.
The original Connie Mack was a famous baseball team owner back in the 20s and 30s. Washington Capitals?...or maybe Phillies? Cant remember.

(43,199 posts)Mack was so well known in Philadelphia they renamed the stadium after him.
So clearly there is a name upon which to be skated.
Nelson's a bit of a milquetoast and not ideal, but he is currently our only statewide Democrat and once again, he benefits from being a clearly better choice than his opponent. (Remember his race against Katherine Harris? He wiped the floor with her.)
As crazy as Mack sounds, I still think West, Harris and Scott have him beat. Jebbie's maybe not as embarassing as much as he is diabolically evil.

(17,064 posts)Agree with you about Nelson. I havent voted for him in the past, he had weak opposition so I could vote third party. This time it appears close. Its important to keep the seat Dem, so looks like I'll have to hold my nose and vote for him. ugh.
