Teri Roberts' family was ready to let her go and be with her murdered daughter, Andrea Kruger, in heaven.
The Valley woman whose daughter was brutally murdered in 2013 by Nikko Jenkins was hours away from being admitted into hospice when she awoke from a 12-day coma. She then told her family she wanted to live, even if that meant losing all of her limbs.
Today, Roberts, 56, is learning to live without either her hands and feet. And her son says she vows to one day be able to walk and drive.
"For whatever reason, it wasn't her time yet," said Ryan Roberts, the 35-year-old son. "She just magically woke up a little about four hours before we took her off life support."
