The network sparked outrage Thursday after airing a marathon of the reality series hours after Duggar’s confession.

TLC has pulled 19 Kids and Counting from its schedule in the wake of star Josh Duggar’s admission that he molested several underage girls 12 years ago, including his sisters.

TLC refused to comment on the incident Thursday, but the network sparked outrage later that evening when it ran a 19 Kids and Counting marathon. As of early Friday, the show had been scheduled to air on the morning of May 27, but it has since been taken off the schedule.

Edit: Sadly I suspect they will air the episodes still once the heat is off and maybe even do a new show with most of the same cast but under a slightly different name like what was done with Dog the bounty hunter after he got caught on tape making those racist comments.

NONSENSE. There is a DEGREE of difference between child molestation versus full blown rape, but AGE has nothing to do with that. It isn't LESS illegal, immoral or less DAMAGING TO THE VICTIM, if committed by a fourteen year old versus a forty year old. The victim doesn't say to themselves, gee LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, at least my abuser/attacker was only fourteen! If you are the parent of the victim, do you think the age of your child's molester or rapist is less devastating because the molester/rapist was young? What is molestation, a less violent form sexual assault.

- A former “Cake Boss” cast member, star Buddy Valastro’s brother-in-law, is currently serving nine years in prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in New Jersey. In Jan. 2015, TLC announced “Cake Boss” had been renewed for at least two more seasons.

15. W/19 kids, they're all pretty much on their own.

With "only" 3 kids, it took me a lot of time to monitor behavior of each and also the interactions between them. With 19, each kid would be lucky to get direct eye contact more than once a day with each parent. A friend of mine from a large (7 kids) family told me that the older kids pretty much raised the younger kids. As the oldest girl, she felt she never had a childhood, and as an adult, chose to remain childless.

on the grounds that though her love interest at the time had molested her daughter, he had never appeared on the show; and that Oprah, acting on a tip, cancelled an appearance of theirs in 2006. Mike Huckabee says he'll stand by Duggar, though. Maybe they and Ted Nugent can form a band.
