The Latest on weather: Tornado warnings for Kansas, Missouri

Authorities have issued tornado warnings for parts of southwestern Kansas and eastern Missouri.
The National Weather Service said Sunday that the warnings were for Woods, Kansas and three Missouri communities — Crystal City, Rocky Ridge and Bloomsdale. They were in effect until 8:15 p.m.
A series of storms is moving through Texas and the Plains, causing major flooding in some areas and spawning twisters.
