HOUSTON (KTRK) --
An 18-year-old freshman college student is dead and another person is injured after a shooting at Texas Southern University Friday. Houston police say two suspects are in custody and they are looking for a third person.
"I see them putting the body on the gurney and putting them in the ambulance," said Antonia Williams, one of many students who were near the shooting.

Investigators say an argument of some sort led three men to shoot two others. The two were shot in the 3500 block of Blodgett Street at Tierwester around 11:30am. The shooting happened at the Tierwester Oaks section of the University Courtyard apartment complex.
TSU students are tweeting about the shooting:

(20,174 posts)No fatalities in he other 2 shootings this week, but they were still serious enough for the victims to go to the hospital. One was even at the same student apartments as the fatality on the 9th.
There was another shooting near the campus in August. The shooter was a TSU sophomore. The 2 victims were not students. The male victim died eventually. He had been shot in the head. The females wound was fairly minor.

(37,748 posts)I think that's a great idea! Ideally, a plot of land visible from NRA central with one cross, or star, or crescent, or what have you for each death by bullet.
(though with the amount of death by bullets each year, it would soon outgrow Arlington National within three years)
