I am curious how the NRA will tell us the 2nd Amendment protects a citizen's right to shoot a police officer.

5. I hope this is the break in the precedent dike that leads to more general liability...

6. This doesn't really break any precedent. Straw sales are illegal and people have been held

responsible for permitting them in the past.

7. The PLCAA specifically exempted firearms dealers who broke federal law, IE:

knowingly allowing straw purchases.
This correct verdict will not change anything at all.
The SCOTUS as ruled the PLCAA is constitutional on at least 3 occasions.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on climate change for instance.

Not really, just kidding.

BTW, I have commented on plenty of other topics, you just need to read them.
Climate change?
Yeah, it's definitely happening, we need to end our dependence on fossil fuels, switch to alternative fuels, develop more solar energy, make electric vehicles more affordable, give those electric vehicle owners a tax credit on their electric bill.
There are many other things we, as a nation, can do, these are just a few suggestions.

9. I get the feeling that because cops were shot it influenced the jury

Seems as if I read, and was angered, about gun sellers and manufacturers of guns were exempt from the straw purchase logic. If a person is buying a gun and the seller is led to believe he/she is going to be the user of said item, how can they be held responsible after it leaves the shop? Again, if it was you or I , rather than a cop I wonder if the verdict would have been the same?
