Oklahoma City attorney admits to paying girl in Peru for sex act

An Oklahoma City attorney who has traveled to Peru more than 30 times admitted Thursday to paying a girl for sex on one trip there.

Michael Dean Billings, 60, pleaded guilty in Oklahoma City federal court to the crime of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places.

"He wanted to take responsibility for what he did," his attorney, Daniel White, said afterward. "Mike wants to get this behind him."

Billings was handcuffed inside the courtroom and will remain in custody while he awaits his sentencing next year. He had been on house arrest.
