Jewish man stabbed in Milan street attack
Source: The Local (Italy)
A Jewish man was stabbed repeatedly on a street in Milan on Thursday night.
Nathan Graff was attacked while walking alone on via San Gimignano, in a Jewish area of the city, Corriere reported.
A witness attempted to intervene but the attacker, whose face was partially covered, managed to escape, sparking a massive police hunt. There are suspicions that the assailant could have been an Arab woman.
Graff, who lived in Milan and held Israeli citizenship, was stabbed between three and nine times outside Carmel Pizza, a kosher pizzeria, and close to a Jewish school.

(6,891 posts)this was a hate crime, but from what the article contained, it would be premature to claim so. To have printed that there are "suspicions that the assailant could have been an Arab woman," is particularly unprofessional and incendiary to have made based upon what is know at this point.

Since they can't mix meat and cheese, does that mean they're limited to serving onion and mushroom pizzas? Or are Italian pizzas different enough from their bastard American offspring that the problem doesn't arise?

(25,704 posts)That is the true test of a pizza maker. Simple but hard. And in Milan no olive oil in crust. I have a Milanese starter, very sour but essential. But my oven tops off at 500, so shortcuts I take.

I've even had pizza with a spicy lox. It's fantastic.

Who, since they are victims, must be innocent. In a weird sort of ultra-binary thinking.
