Poll: Clinton leads Sanders by 25 points nationally

Source: The Hill

Hillary Clinton has extended her lead nationally over Bernie Sanders to 25 points in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, according to a new Bloomberg Politics poll.

Clinton leads Sanders 55 percent to 30 percent among Democrats in the poll released Friday. She led Sanders 33 percent to 24 percent in a September poll that also included Vice President Biden.

The latest survey was conducted in the days after the second Democratic debate last weekend, which came in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris.

Clinton holds strong leads over Sanders on issues of who can best combat Islamic terrorism, who has the better temperament to be president and who would work most effectively with Congress.

With Edwards still in the race

Clinton led Obama 38 percent to 27 percent in the new poll, a 10-point fall from her 46 percent to 25 percent lead last month. The drop followed a month of attacks on the New York senator from her rivals and a heavily criticized performance in a late-October debate.

The BS'ers have pushed this notion that BS is "better than" Obama, and that's not going down well with BO's coalition. But, why am I telling you this? You already knew that, right? There's a reason HRC is beating BS in the 80 percentile among AA's & Latinos.

I will see who actually wins when they actually win. Until that time, I will work for the candidate of my choice. I've watched the favorite get upset almost every time

76 Favorite Udall lost to Carter
84 Favorite Mondale won but after a strong surprise showing by Hart (and considerable impact from Jackson)
88 Favorite Hart lost to Dukakis
92 Favorite Tsongas lost to Clinton
00 Favorite Gore won
04 Favorite Dean lost to Kerry
08 Favorite Clinton lost to Obama
16 Yet to be seen.

If believing things without evidence floats your boat, have at it. It's a long way off, and the situation demonstrably has the ability to change.

He had big leads like Hillary.

It was in the news and everything!

The races I listed had scientific polling. so did the ones in 1948 that predicted Dewey over Truman for months prior to Truman's landslide.

Your scientific polling is too early to accurately predict months from now. Go ask a scientist--or at least a statistician.

I appreciate the gusto you have for your candidate, but please keep some perspective. In doing so, you'll find your boat to have much better buoyancy.

All I said was that no one knew the outcome. You are the one making a prediction with a poll that is somehow more more "scientific" than the one in 2007.

Hillary may well be the nominee. Just as in 2007, the indicators are there. But like 2015, 2007 isn't the year that this is important.

If you could give me some soothsaying help, though, who do you predict will win the 2016 World Series?

That doesn't excuse Bernie's habit of falling back on discussion of his economic policies when asked about foreign policy. this is an awkward time to avoid discussion of foreign policy or national security.
