Five protesters were shot Monday night near the Black Lives Matter encampment at the 4th Precinct police station in north Minneapolis, according to police.

According to Miski Noor, a media contact for Black Lives Matter, “a group of white supremacists showed up at the protest, as they have done most nights.”

One of the three outsiders wore a mask, said Dana Jaehnert, who had been at the protest site since early evening. “One guy was shouting the ‘n’ word,” she said.

When about a dozen protesters attempted to herd the group away from the area, Noor said, they “opened fire on about 6 protesters,” hitting five of them. Jaehnert said she heard four gunshots.

On edit: Witnesses saying the shooters had been hanging around the protest for several days. When the protesters tried to move them away peacefully, they waited until they reached a dark area where nobody was filming and shot four or five people. Two or three with minor wounds, one shot in the leg, one in the stomach.

The cops just stood around and refused to hear about it for five minutes. Then they maced the protesters who were filming them and told them, "You asked for this." It took 15-20 minutes for an ambulance to show up.

A lot of people got videos. The shooters had ski masks, but apparently there is video of one of them unmasked.

Witness says, "Tweet at Obama. Cause he needs to be here. They're fucking killing us. Pardon my language."

It isn't just in Minneapolis it's in the suburbs too. This is one of the worst places for Black people I would say AA, but they are even worse to immigrants.

Ive been questioning the White Supremacist line also.

What is the term for these guys who hate everybody but their first person shooter co-gamers. And will say anything to shock and disturb. They were trolling hard online and posting up videos of their interaction with BLM and protesters at the 4th precinct late last week.

From that article, it says guys showed up "wearing masks" and they started to chase them away? Why? And from the video i've seen. a LOT of people there were wearing masks. The protesters were made aware of this and had been on the lookout for agitators. I think these guys showed up with that as their purpose as accounts have them shouting racial slurs before being run off by the group of protesters.

separated. Both up to the point of the shooting were protesting. BLM were protesting another shooting while the idiots were protesting BLM. It should have been police who were escorting the three men.

This is very sad because it was unnecessary - the police were not doing their job.

I understand that Minneapolis has called the FBI in and that is good. I hope they find those idiots and do not kill them in doing so. I want them to tell us who they were following - Trump?

Protest was right outside police station. Shootings were one block away but according to a some who were there police waited 10 minutes to respond, even though you could hear the shots and people upset and it was chaotic after the shootings. Makes you wonder whether someone knew in the pd that this was going to happen. Hope that was not the case.
