Bill Nye speaks at NYC climate change march: We 'act like renters, not owners of this Earth'

On the eve of a global climate summit in Paris, activists in New York urged a strong fight against global warming Sunday.

About 5,000 people participated in the march that kicked off from City Hall, according to organizers.

"The climate is changing. It's our fault, and we have to get to work on this now,” said Bill Nye, the science educator known as the “Science Guy,” noting that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has nearly doubled since the advent of the steam engine.
