Sanders Says He Opposes Kinder Morgan Pipeline

Source: NHPR

By NATASHA HAVERTY

At Sunday night's Jefferson Jackson dinner, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders took a moment on the stage to express his opposition to the Northeast Energy Direct—the controversial natural gas pipeline proposed by Kinder Morgan.

"I opposed the Keystone Pipeline from day one," Sanders said. "And that is why, here in New Hampshire, I believe the Northeast Energy Direct pipeline, that would direct fracked natural gas for four hundred miles, through seventeen communities, is a bad idea, and should be opposed."

That makes Sanders the first presidential candidate to say no to the pipeline.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is reviewing Kinder Morgan’s proposal. The company says they hope to begin construction in early 2017.

we'll not have much water to drink because of this glut of natural gas due to fracking. The sobs want to be able to bottle it up and sell it on the world stage, something I'm totally against 100%

Have you not heard, they have a way to convert ocean salt water to fresh water cheaply using electricity? So do not worry, you may not be able to drink the water we already have but they will sell you what they make at reasonable prices.

But what about the poor?
