Trump: Maybe Obama 'feels comfortable' in a mosque

Source: The Hill

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday chided President Obama for visiting a mosque, a move the president made in part as a counter to Trump's controversial comments on Muslims.

"I don't have much thought, I think he can go to lots of places. I don't know, maybe he feels comfortable there," Trump said Wednesday on Fox News' "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren."

"There are a lot of places he can go, and he chose a mosque."

Obama's visit to a Baltimore mosque Wednesday was his first visit to a mosque during his presidency, and he took the time to chide the "inexcusable" anti-Islamic rhetoric that's boiled up recently.

The rest of us tend to feel comfortable around people unlike themselves, so I'm sure Obama is just fine visiting a mosque. Trump never exits his comfort zone of white, low-educated, God-fearing rednecks.

He pals around with Muslims -- even borrowed $100s of millions from a Saudi who is (was?) a friend to avoid a default on payment due. Guess Muslims are great when they can be used.

I can assume Trump definitely wouldn't be - although I bet the mosque would be more welcoming of Trump than the other way around. If Trump was part of the KKK (and 50 years ago, he might have been) I doubt he'd be setting foot in a black church either. I'm not formally religious, but I'd be comfortable in a mosque, a buddhist temple, a synagogue, and probably also a black gospel church as well. Oddly enough, I'm least comfortable in a white church, 'cause I had that shoved at me as a child.

I grew up right next to Dearborn, Michigan and knew many Muslims. I also served in the Army with Muslims. They are just as good citizens as the rest of us. Listening to some people talk about Muslims is the same way people used to talk about African-Americans fifty years ago. HTG they are so ignorant.

The only problem, depending on where they're from, is simply language. But I have good friends in that community. Hell, my next door neighbors are muslim. They're some of the nicest people you could meet. A lot nicer than some "white Americans" who are "anti-muslim" are, I can tell you that.

This will give him a bump with the Republican hate base. Now the "establishment" Republican candidates will have to burnish their hate credentials to keep up. One more demonstration of what these people really are. Loving it.

Not that Obama is a practicing Muslim, but what about American Citizen's right to practice a religion other than Christianity.

If Trump would make a comment like this, it is pretty clear about how he feels about Muslims. Does he also have disrespect for people who practice other faiths such as Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc

This guy reminds me more and more of Hitler.
