Hillary Calls for Michigan Gov’s Resignation an Hour After Her Spox Slammed Bernie for Same

Source: Mediaite

Hillary Clinton started out tonight’s Democratic debate in Flint by announcing for the first time that she believes Michigan Governor Rick Snyder should resign or be recalled. But a Clinton campaign spokesman was saying something a bit different literally an hour earlier on CNN. <snip>

Brian Fallon spoke with Wolf Blitzer a little after 7 pm tonight. Blitzer brought up how, while Sanders had been calling for Snyder to resign, Clinton had not yet. Here’s how Fallon answered:

“I think that, in a nutshell, shows the difference in their two approaches. If the governor stepped down tomorrow, would that make a difference in the everyday lives of the people who are drinking contaminated water who can’t take showers, who can’t brush their teeth?” <snip>

At tonight’s debate, Clinton called on Snyder to resign: “I agree the governor should resign or be recalled, and we should support the efforts of citizens attempting to achieve that. But that is not enough.”

Maybe Hillary needs to be Vice President as she always seems to be one-step behind Bernie in issues anyway

The campaign may have been testing social media reaction to this statement. They may have found it better to go with a 'pro-resignation' remark in the opening portion of the debate. Very smart. I am a Bernie supporter who is increasingly impressed with Hillary's latest campaign. If her campaign is basing messaging/changes in messages in part off of social media trends on an hourly basis, she can stay in front of emerging campaign issues. Maybe all campaigns already do this, and I am the one trying to keep up!

Bernie says it first, and says it often. Then, when and only when convenient, Hillary Parrot's what Sanders already said.

If Snyder is removed, then Brian Calley gets to take over the job, and then has the advantage of being the incumbent in the next election. So Calley could be governor for 2+ terms.

Let Snyder finish his term, so the Democratic candidate is not facing an incumbent governor.

One Bozo's Too Sense.

States are allowed to self-regulate and our Federal Gov. spends a couple billion on a blimp-camera, instead of a couple thousand, on 500 unannounced water quality tests.

Hillary had the Internal Poll 3.71.2 OS operating. Her spokesman only had 3.65.3, which means there was a delay between what the latest poll told her to say, rather than the original focus group which covered that issue 2 weeks ago.

Once she clinches everything on 3/15, all the pieces will be in place - shades of a former Chicago Bears coach who was canned after that season.

That is what these assholes have been doing since Nixon. They resign, our side gives up. Screw that. Investigate and throw his ass in prison.
