Roger Ailes reportedly kicked out of Fox News headquarters

Source: New York Daily News

Roger Ailes is out — of his office at Fox News headquarters.

The chairman of Rupert Murdoch’s cable news operation, plagued by allegations of sexually harassing the on-air talent, was bounced to another 21st Century Fox building in Manhattan, New York Magazine national affairs editor Gabriel Sherman tweeted Thursday.

His much rumored departure from Fox News appears imminent, too. According to another Sherman tweet, the once invulnerable Ailes will take a $60 million golden parachute to leave the company behind.

... as reported by Breitbart, but the first three are confirmed by multiple sources to have a clause in their contract that they can walk if Ailes departs for any reason.

Trump has spoken of his network plans in several interviews this year.

When I write "no-brainer" I mean it literally for Trump. But I think Ailes would jump at the opportunity ... and out-deal Trump on the contract.

exercise the option to try and leverage a better deal at fox as fox will feel vulnerable and will want to try to keep as much of its talent as possible because if to many of them were to leave at this time there is a risk that they might not be able to maintain their momentum as the top news network for conservatives.

He's got this picture of Glenn Beck, broadcasting his penny-anti Sirius radio podcast, pinned up on his wall for a reason. All he has to do is point to it, and Hannity, O'Reilly, Doucy and the rest of the gang will shit their pants, and beg him to continue with their contracts at half their current salary.

If they try to leave, he'll remove their hart plugs. (ie-the copious amounts of money showered upon them by their plutocrat masters. That's the only reason why any of the 'conservative' chattering class are even in this business. It has nothing to do with a fake, crafted ideology.)

But it's GIGANTIC news. Pox Noise has been such a big influence on news coverage for so long. That will be a big blow. A morale blow especially. He developed, and shepherded, their schtick. I guess every day of this hapless CONvention-cum-shit show has now been stepped on. Sucks to be them.

Margaret Sullivan was just on with Chris Hayes, speculating briefly about what roger ailes does next. She said he might go back into politics. He worked for Nixon at the start of his career. So that got me thinking - maybe he's free to join the Trump train? I mean - look at the timing...

Trump did say he might eventually do his own Trump TV network (particularly if/when he loses in November), to add even more wrong-wing propagandizing into the mix. Well, he may have his Trump TV COO.

Well since Oprah has "OWN", I wouldn't be surprised if he tried something like that as a venture. And he could use Ailes and take the 3 Ailes lackies with him (Hannity, Van Sustern, & O'Reilly since it is supposedly an option in their contracts)! Caribou Barbie and her wolf pack family would have a home!

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he even tried to use "TNT" to name it and then garner more beloved "negative press" battling with Ted Turner over that acronym.

and people telling me goodbye. But the bureau chief at the AP went out and ordered a small cake - and it even had my name on it. I was really surprised! And typical of that size newsroom, many of my friends weren't even there. I wasn't surprised about that, though. They were out covering stories and news conferences and stuff. The news never takes time off - even if it's just to go over to one end of the room and get some cake with some people. In a newsroom like that, there's ALWAYS gonna be a few people missing.

Okay, that's the THIRD day that the RNC convention was stepped on by another headline.

Day one: Malenia swipes Michelle Obama's speech.

Day two: Nothing else happened. -whew- maybe we're in the clear.

Day three: Ted Cruz refuses to endorse Trump, booed off stage.

Day four: Ailes fired, Fox News in free-fall. Employees too busy updating their resumes to spell check the cyron (nothing new there). On-camera talent are asking Glenn Beck how much it costs him to run his own Sirius radio show.
