Trump Doctor Wrote Health Letter in Just 5 Minutes as Limo Waited
Source: NBC News
Bornstein said that after he was asked to write the letter, he thought about what he would say all day but did not type it out until the last minute as a black car sent by Trump waited to collect it. He said he didn't even proofread it.
The doctor said he would not normally use such over-the-top language in a letter for a patient but he made an exception for Trump who just two weeks before had tweeted that the doctor's assessment would show "perfection."
"I think I picked up his kind of language and then just interpreted it to my own," Bornstein said.

Donald Trump's long-time doctor has revealed he wrote a letter endorsing the candidate's health in just five minutes while a limo was waiting outside - but refused to back away from the glowing description he gave The Donald.
Dr Harold Bornstein, a gastroenterologist based in the Manhattan's Upper East Side, described Trump as the picture of health on Friday.
'His health is excellent, especially his mental health,' the doctor told NBC News, doubling down on a letter he wrote last December about Trump's well-being.
'If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected

Donald Trump's doctor Harold Bornstein could be in violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
Bornstein appears to be using Windows XP software which in 2014 Microsoft stopped supporting it
Information stored on a computer operating under that software is potentially at risk
HIPAA requires doctors protect private information collected on their patients by making continued security updates to their computer systems
Due to Bornstein reportedly using an outdated operating system, he could possibly be in violation of HIPAA

Donald Trump's long-time doctor who revealed that the presidential candidate is in 'excellent health' could be in violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Dr Harold Bornstein, a gastroenterologist based in the Manhattan's Upper East Side, described Trump as the picture of health on Friday.
As Bornstein sat at his desk inside his office during an interview with NBC News about Trump, his computer screen was on full display.
It appears as though Bornstein uses Windows XP software on the computer inside his office, as first pointed out by Deadspin's Tim Burke.
Back in 2014, Microsoft stopped supporting Windows XP. Information that is stored on a computer operating under Windows XP is potentially at risk

REVEALED: Roger Ailes kept two HANDGUNS hidden in the door of his Fox News office for 'personal protection'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3760870/Roger-Ailes-kept-two-HANDGUNS-hidden-door-Fox-News-office-personal-protection.html
Roger Ailes kept two handguns hidden in the door of his Fox News office.
The network's ousted CEO had a Glock and a Smith & Wesson stashed away with ammunition just a few feet away from his desk in the New York City headquarters.
The former TV executive's attorney, Susan Estrich, said he has a permit for both firearms and they were for his 'personal protection'.
The revelations were part of an article in Vanity Fair about the crises that have consumed Fox since Ailes was accused of sexual harassment.
It has led to speculation about Megyn Kelly's future at the network
The popular host - whose reported $10 million-a-year contract with the network will expire in July 2017 - has refused to speak about whether or not she plans to stay at Fox News.
She has repeatedly dodged the question when asked and instead talked about how much she loves her job and the people she works with on her show The Kelly File
