And these documents challenge Romney's claim that he left Bain Capital in early 1999.
The documents—one of which was signed by Romney—also call into question the account of Romney's exit from Bain that the company and the Romney campaign have provided.


............But documents filed by Bain and Stericycle with the Securities and Exchange Commission—and obtained by Mother Jones—list Romney as an active participant in the investment. And this deal helped Stericycle, a company with a poor safety record, grow, while yielding tens of millions of dollars in profits for Romney and his partners. The documents—one of which was signed by Romney—also contradict the official account of Romney's exit from Bain.

The document also states that Romney may be deemed to share voting and dispositive power with respect to 2,116,588 shares of common stock in Stericycle in his capacity as sole shareholder of the Bain entities that invested in the company.

Another SEC document http://www.motherjones.com/documents/392936-stericycle-s4-1999 filed November 30, 1999, by Stericycle also names Romney as an individual who holds "voting and dispositive power" with respect to the stock owned by Bain. If Romney had fully retired from the private equity firm he founded, why would he be the only Bain executive named as the person in control of this large amount of Stericycle stock?

I posted the Mother Jones link on as many message boards as possible. I have been to Red State and registered there but they would not let me post as yet, I have also been to Fox News to post it there. I do not know if it will show up on Fox though because they monitor their comments before posting them. I want the MSM to see this, and also as many of Mitt's religious right supporters as possible, also. Not only is the disposal of the fetuses important, but I feel the Bain connection and when Mitt says he left the firm is just as important. This man is such a pathological liar it is astounding.

(CNN) – A report first published more than a week ago detailing Bain Capital's record of sending jobs overseas continued to roil on the campaign trail Monday, as President Barack Obama's team contested a fact-check that called into question their attacks on rival Mitt Romney, who headed Bain for more than a decade.

FactCheck's report concluded: "We found no evidence to support the claim that Romney – while he was still running Bain Capital – shipped American jobs overseas."

They point out "two examples cited by the Obama campaign occurred after Romney left Bain."

That argument – that Romney left Bain before the outsourcing took place – was the subject of a six-page letter Monday, addressed to FactCheck's director and deputy director, from Obama's deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter.

Cutter wrote that FactCheck's assessment of the timing "is not a fact at all, not by any fair reading of the record, and yet it appears to be central to your position."

She cited an interview Romney gave in 1999, when he said he would still offer "input on investment and key personnel decisions" at Bain, and similar interviews with his wife and lawyer expressing similar outlooks for his involvement with the company.

Bringing in concerns about business practices, there is easy money in waste management. SRCL went from @ $2.00 in 1996 to $92.87 this morning, splitting twice over that time.

I don't think it matters to people too much what his investments were/are, as long as the companies were deemed legal. However, fudging on when he left Bain matters because he lied about it and maybe there are other reasons for that.
