Trump’s Newest Debate Guest Appears to Support Terrorist Group Hamas, Abolition of Israel

Source: Mediaite

by Alex Griswold | 12:34 pm, October 19th, 2016

In a move apparently intend to troll the president, Donald Trump invited Barack Obama‘s half-brother Malik Obama to attend Wednesday’s night presidential debate. But Trump might have been unaware of Malik’s controversial support for anti-Israel terrorist groups.

In 2014, the Israeli press reported on the fact that Malik Obama was photographed wearing a red and white keffiyeh, which typically signifies support for Hamas rather than the more moderate Fatah. Emblazoned on the scarf were the slogans “Jerusalem is ours, we are coming,” and “From the river to the sea.” Both are popular chants used by the terrorist group.

Obama's Kenyan half-brother wants to abolish Israel and backs Hamas, which advocates Jewish genocide. Trump is bringing him to the debate.

“From the river to the sea” in particular refers to the idea that any Palestinian state should encompass all land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea– i.e., the entirety of modern Israel. Hamas itself supports the complete extermination of the Jewish people.

Malik is also a polygamist who runs a charity that has been accused of fraud. It seems doubtful that Trump wants to direct the media’s attention to sexual and philanthropic ethics.

So perfect: Like Donald Trump, the polygamous Malik Obama also runs a dodgy charity. http://nypost.com/2016/07/24/why-obamas-half-brother-says-hell-be-voting-for-donald-trump/

2. Could Hillary use this tonight?

Would it be completely out of line (or insulting to Pres Obama) if she asked why he felt a supporter of hamas was a worthy guest for a Presidential debate?

9. The problem with that is it will focus the media on that issue. HRC doesn't want tomorrows

headlines to be about Obama's half-brother (which it would be). If she ignores it she can hopefully make the headlines tomorrow about one of Trump's many failings.

Trump is trying to change the narrative in the news. Any story that bumps the negative stories about him off the front page is a winner. His fans won't believe that he supports a Hamas ally any way and it gets everyone talking about the Middle East. The ME isn't a good topic right now for anyone except a candidate who has made fairy tale promises about waving a magic wand and fixing everything.

One of the things I find so disturbing is that Trump has managed to get the support of both Neo-Nazi types and some of the Jewish right. Apparently the neo-Nazi types are convinced that Trump only says good things about Israel "to play the game" for his other supporters. (I believe David Duke said that). One the Jewish Republican side, he hasn't raised what Romney did, but he has his supporters nonetheless.

10. Understand your argument but

disagree - it shows that he's more concerned with "payback" than he is about anything else. It goes to the judgement issue. Not knowing what your own guests stand for looks very, very bad. And since this country is very strongly sympathetic to Israel and hamas is a terrorist organization, I think it's something she could use.

12. I agree with your assessment I just don't have the faith in the average American that you do. I

certainly don't have faith that the media will report it accurately or explain to the less-informed American that HAMAS is a terrorist organization and current threat to Israel and by extension the US. I would expect the headlines tomorrow to read "Obama family ties to radical Islamic jihadis. Glenn Beck was right POTUS is Muslim and Hillary helped hide it. And Benghazi".

I think your comment has helped make it clear to me that I have become too cynical. I must admit that even as I typed that last sentence I wondered if Trump tried to charge anyone for a seat at the debate. November 9th can't come soon enough for my sanity.

14. He's also a polygamist who married a teenager less than half his age

President Barack Obama's polygamist half brother in Kenya has married a 19-year-old woman more than 30 years his junior.

Malik Obama, 52, told a Kenya news station that the teen quit school and wanted to get married. He appeared on video taken by a hidden camera, although he knew he was talking to journalists.

"She decided she doesn't want to go back to school. She wants to get married now. She came here, and what am I supposed to do? So we are married," Malik Obama said on the video broadcast by NTV.

Sheila Anyango is now Malik Obama's third wife, although he did not say when the wedding took place. Polygamy is legal in Kenya if it falls under religious or cultural traditions.

The 19-year-old's mother told The Associated Press on Friday she is furious that her daughter quit high school and married the 52-year-old. Mary Aoko Ouma says her daughter tried to marry Malik Obama two years ago, but the mother says she wouldn't give permission.

Ouma said she has struggled to send her six children to school since her husband died in 1996, and that she was severely disappointed Anyango didn't finish. Ouma said Anyango was setting a bad example for her other daughter who is still in high school.

"I told her not to get married until she has finished her education. Let the world teach her a lesson even if she has problems in her marriage. I don't want to see her again," Ouma said.
