Former Arizona Governor Dismisses Hispanics: ‘They Don’t Vote’

Source: Huffington Post

Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) dismissed the suggestion that Hillary Clinton could win her state in the presidential election, claiming that Hispanics there wouldn’t vote.

GOP nominee Donald Trump narrowly leads Clinton in Arizona ― a state that has traditionally voted for Republicans ― according to HuffPost Pollster. (One recent poll this week even showed her leading Trump in the state.) But there has been rapid growth in the number of eligible Hispanic voters in the state, which could be a problem for Trump, who launched his presidential campaign by calling Mexicans rapists and criminals.

Still, Brewer, who has endorsed Trump, said she wasn’t concerned with the Hispanic vote.

“Nah,” she told the Boston Globe. “They don’t get out and vote. They don’t vote.”

Well, there you have it. Brewer lets the cat out of the bag regarding Republican strategy. Why not make Hispanics the scapegoats, because they do not vote, so where is the downside.

...The like of which has never been seen on Nov. 8th. Parties were everyone is wearing an "I voted" sticker, thus sticking it to bigots like Brewer.

And the GOP wonders why minority voters don't vote for them.

They'll probably never stop trying. Yet another reason to make sure Hillary can appoint the next two justices.

In another post in this thread, I recommended that they make her comment into an ad and run it non-stop in TX, AZ, and FL. And I would probably throw NV in there too for good measure.

who have never paid attention to politics or voted before are jumping on board. When tRump equated Mexicans to rapists, it lit a fire under their butts. The GOP may be in for a big surprise this year.

Maybe Brewer had a point in 2004. (That's being very generous because Brewer is not really capable of making a lucid point). But it ain't 2004 anymore.
