Former Arizona Governor Dismisses Hispanics: ‘They Don’t Vote’
Source: Huffington Post
Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) dismissed the suggestion that Hillary Clinton could win her state in the presidential election, claiming that Hispanics there wouldnt vote.
GOP nominee Donald Trump narrowly leads Clinton in Arizona ― a state that has traditionally voted for Republicans ― according to HuffPost Pollster. (One recent poll this week even showed her leading Trump in the state.) But there has been rapid growth in the number of eligible Hispanic voters in the state, which could be a problem for Trump, who launched his presidential campaign by calling Mexicans rapists and criminals.
Still, Brewer, who has endorsed Trump, said she wasnt concerned with the Hispanic vote.
Nah, she told the Boston Globe. They dont get out and vote. They dont vote.

Well, there you have it. Brewer lets the cat out of the bag regarding Republican strategy. Why not make Hispanics the scapegoats, because they do not vote, so where is the downside.

And the GOP wonders why minority voters don't vote for them.

(436 posts)Maybe Brewer had a point in 2004. (That's being very generous because Brewer is not really capable of making a lucid point). But it ain't 2004 anymore.
