Motorcycle gang fight involving Bandidos leads Texas police to explosives, 11 arrests made

An August fight between motorcycle gangs has led to the arrests of 11 bikers and El Paso police found guns, weapons and explosive materials while investigating. Seven of those arrests were made Tuesday.
The seven suspects were charged with aggravated robbery while engaging in organized criminal activity, a first-degree felony, on Tuesday, according to the El Paso Police Department.

Police also found short-barreled rifles, military-style weapons and bomb-making materials at the address listed for Bingaman, in the 400 block of Benton St. in Horizon City.
On Aug. 3, police arrested three top leaders of the local Bandidos chapter: Juan Martinez, 60, the president, Thomas Decarlo, 32, the secretary, and James Heredia, 45, the sergeant at arms of the gang. Each were charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity after they were involved in a confrontation with another motorcycle gang.
