SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R- TX) joins Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) in the Ozarks today for several "get out the vote" rallies with the Republican ticket.
Blunt and Cruz will help rally voters and discuss the importance of this election 5 pm Wednesday evening at National Safety Compliance, Inc., 424 North Cedarbrook Avenue in Springfield. Doors to the public open at 4:30 p.m.
The Senators will then follow the Republican candidates over to the Connor Ballroom at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin for another rally, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Missouri Democrats plan a protest outside the event in Springfield, according to a news release sent to journalists Tuesday.
