Clinton lawyer pushes back at Trump's attacks in response to recount

Source: USA TODAY

Hillary Clinton’s lawyer Marc Elias responded to Donald Trump’s attacks and unsubstantiated charges of voter fraud Sunday night.

"We are getting attacked for participating in a recount that we didn't ask for by the man who won election but thinks there was massive fraud," Elias tweeted.

The president-elect went on a tweet storm Sunday afternoon over the news that the Clinton campaign had joined Jill Stein’s recount efforts in Wisconsin. The Green Party candidate has initiated a recount in Wisconsin and pledged to do so in Michigan and Pennsylvania, all states where the margin of votes between Trump and Clinton are relatively small. Unofficial vote tallies show Trump won in Michigan by less than 12,000 votes, Wisconsin by less than 30,000 and Pennsylvania by less than 70,000.
