Pennsylvania senate staffer thinks ‘menstruation’ is too ‘graphic’ to talk about but OK to vote on

Congress is gearing up to vote against clinics that provide health care necessary for women, their uterus, their hormones, their birth control, pap smears and various other forms of personal care necessary. Yet, when it comes to discussing the very things they’re legislating, it seems some GOP staffers think it’s far too graphic.

According to a post from Jezebel, a Philadelphia woman was on a call with a staffer from the office of Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA). She wanted to voice her displeasure with the Republican war on Planned Parenthood and the Affordable Care Act.

The Philly Voice reported, 26-year-old Nina Starner was doing her duty as an informed citizen and called her senator. She wanted to know what Republicans planned to do once Obamacare was repealed. The conversation was curt, to say the least. There were few answers. She then turned to talk about federal funding of Planned Parenthood and the ability for women on Medicaid to use those clinics.

Toomey has been outspoken when it comes to services that these clinics deliver. He’s voted to slash Planned Parenthood funding in the past and further believes doctors who perform abortions should be penalized and punished.

The previous non-voting deplorables that Drumpf called out of the sewers, were the ones who tipped the scales. Of course when you have people like Gabby Giffords endorse him, in a big hunting state, that didn't help either.

Liberal Democrat Katie McGinty was up in the polls. Toomey should have lost as badly as Rick Santorum. He's way too conservative for PA

7. got to flood their office with personal calls, emails & faxes. It's the only way to "make them do it"

That's what Obama meant when he said, "Make me do it" several years ago.

Americans have to engage their government or once elected in a 'Republic' government, Congress can do whatever they want.

From my experience with DOI, Many types of petitions don't cut it either. In many cases a petition is counted as one vote and trash canned.

Thank you, 26-year-old Nina Starner wish we could clone you. America needs a few million more of you.

9. "penalties for doctors who perform them.

Toomey on abortion: "I would suggest that we have penalties for doctors who perform them.”

How many years in prison is sufficient for a surgeon who performed one, Senator? Execution? Life?

And how about the woman who had the surgery? She's, at least, an accomplice. Twenty to Life?

years ago, one of them had a boyfriend who worked there and he went. Someone we got onto periods. He couldn't stand hearing about it - very squeamish. I always wonder about those guys. I mean, why is it so bad? It's part of life like their bodily anatomy, which they never seem to find so gross.

If he can't talk about menstruation, he can use any number of polite alternatives, Aunt Flo, Red Tide, OTR, etc.

Do you knit?
Do you crochet?
Do you sew?
Ta-da! Here's the link to multiple patterns illustrating the female reproductive organs.
Do you draw or paint? Please share your art work with Senator Toomey's office.
Do you write poems? Short stories? Articles? Print and mail.

Can we bury this waste of molecules in educational material? I bet we can.
