Feinstein Says Russia Altered Election Outcome

Source: Political Wire

January 15, 2017 By Taegan Goddard

Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) told NBC News that she believes Russia tried to interfere in the presidential election and that their activity ultimately altered the outcome.

Said Feinstein: “I’ve had all of the major classified briefings. I have been astonished at what has been a two-year effort at Russia to spearfish, to hack, to provide disinformation, propaganda wherever it really could. And I think this has been a very sophisticated effort.”

She added: “I’m certainly not gonna leave this in limbo, because this is the future of America, it’s the future of democracy. And if we can’t carry out an election without disinformation being pumped into it by another country, we’ve got a huge destruction of our system going on so we have to — we have to be full and robust in this look.”

Unless Trump is unequivocally stopped from assuming the presidency and the "results" of the "election" invalidated, it's all meaningless. I really, really don't want to fucking hear these people anymore. All talk, talk, talk, no action. Trump can suck it, but unless they make him it's all moot.

Outrage is simply an easy-to-say word. What that word describes is what we really need. Given what we've been told, I want a completely new election. Nothing less will do. I'm increasingly incensed with the resignation that: Well, for better or worse, we had an election - now let's all play along like it was a legitimate one!

If I buy a toaster and all it does is burn the toast black, I have every right to take it back for a refund - and maybe choose a different make after having had to deal with the defective one. If I buy a new car and it won't make it off of the sales lot, I have a right to back out of the deal. So we sure to hell deserve to use the "Lemon Law" with respect to an election that was obviously assembled wrong from the start! Look what's happened with Volkswagen when they were caught purposely using flawed software to get around smog checks!

But - nope.... We (the supposed beacon of democracy) have had an election and how could we not accept it? Hand count ballots? Wha... are you CRAZY?

As long as "their side" wins, many Republicans don't care that a foreign government might have influenced the presidential election. Republicans have already shown they'll say and do anything to win.

HOWEVER, if Hillary Clinton had received more electoral college votes but lost the popular vote, and it was possible a foreign entity had hacked the election, the Republicans would be losing their minds!!! And the right-wing nut jobs, like the militias, would be camping out in front of the White House right now and calling for secession.

When Trump's criminal enterprise starts taking effect, with a trade war that results in a new recession, with mass layoffs in American industries that can no longer export their goods, millions of Americans losing their health insurance coverage, millions of Americans thrown out of their homes while Trump's cronies buy them up for pennies on the dollar, and new wars in the Middle East and elsewhere claiming more American lives and treasure.

I wrote this to Sen. Durbin, my Senator, after seeing this report, because I know goddamn good and well intelligence communities around the world, including ours, know the answer to 'is a Trump traitor?'.

Sen. Durbin,

We're aware Russia hijacked this election. What we need to know now is if Trump was involved. We get leaks. We get innuendo. We get the ENTIRE WORLD telling us we're in grave danger.

I have no doubt Trump and his entire crew are traitors. But if that's true, we deserve THE. TRUTH. We deserve the evidence.

And if it's not true, then even Trump deserves to have the truth told to exonerate him.

Millions in this country and around the world are terrified and yet nobody will give us a concrete answer. Instead we're told the peaceful transfer is most important.

No. It isn't. If it's a peaceful transfer to a traitor that is a coup. Without a shot fired it is the most violent attack ever upon this country. With Republicans in control of everything there is no guarantee that even if tapes emerge of Trump plotting on video with Putin they will do anything.

This rising tension and terror amongst millions needs to end and it needs to end before the 20th. Either Trump is a traitor or he's not. Someone needs to tell us. I'm aware the IC needs to protect sources and people's live are at risk, but if it's all true, then MILLIONS of lives and the stability of the entire world are at risk.

We deserve the truth before January 20th. We deserve the truth now.

Senator Harris

I live every day now in a state of fear and dread.

The Russians and subversive factions within our own government conspired to undermine our election, and no one seems to be that concerned about it.

Trump has already publicly placed himself, family and staff above the law while ignoring the security of the country in favor of his business dealings. Meanwhile the New York-centric media is working overtime to normalize this coup d'état as if it were an ordinary election and Trump were not a narcissistic semi-literate wannabe dictator.

San Diego—my hometown—will be a flashpoint for immigration reform. I am not particularly interested in being around when Trump’s Deportation Force sweeps through my neighborhood.

The Republicans just today, announced their intentions to “rollback everything FDR did” which of course means complete destruction of the social safety net including Medicad & Social Security. I am just a couple years from retirement, and now facing the prospect of having everything I’ve worked for my entire life taken away by the 1%.

The Trump administration even wants to do away with the VA. That also directly affects me because I’m a Vietnam era veteran with a 10% disability.

Please, Senator Harris, please do everything you can to protect the West Coast, California and her citizens from the rest of the country and the madman they elected.

Thank you.

With this interference it's impossible to know the real level of support the GrOPe and Ol' Yeller really have in the general population. (I'm guessing it's much lower than the 60 Million credited during the election.)

It shows there is no mandate for the incoming congressional majority.

What did the House Guppies lose by this time? Seems like the last election they lost (without the gerrymandering) by around 1.7 Million total votes, if everything had been fair.

But, what is going to happen? What penalties? Who (aside from women, minorities, aged, sick, young, and infirm) are going to pay the price of this outrage?

that Putin merely hijacked and exploited a hack that was already in place. Having his people do it on their own seems too brazen to me (even for him). I think that explains all of the hand-wringing about assigning him blame and telling us what actually happened. Putin knows that he won't ever have to pay for using something that was already there. They simply gained control of Rove's back door, and Putin knows that it would require an admission that the back door existed in the first place in order to point the finger directly at him. Our own government doesn't have any way to deal with this kind of event. What if John Kerry actually won, and we're only finding out now? Do we remove Bush's SC appointments? It becomes very complicated.

Hence, Donnie's reluctance to attend briefings (and a private security force).

Putin knows he's golden, and we'll never be told the whole truth because of the clusterfuck that would ensue trying to unravel the legitimacy of what's already been done.

Haven't heard anything from Rove lately. I'm sure he's just enjoying the quiet life he's accustomed to.
