PUTIN: The people behind the Trump dossier are 'worse than prostitutes'

Source: business insider

Russian President Vladimir Putin pushed back on Tuesday against unverified claims that Russia worked with Donald Trump during the US presidential election to undermine Hillary Clinton.

"We are witnessing an ongoing acute political struggle in the US, whose task is to undermine the legitimacy of the president-elect," Putin said, according to the Russian news agency Interfax.

He added that those behind the claims, included in a dossier made public last week, were "worse than prostitutes."

"I have an impression they practiced in Kiev and are ready to organize a Maidan in Washington, just to not let Trump take office," Putin said, referring to the Euromaidan protests in Ukraine that led to the ouster of the country's pro-Russian president, Viktor Yanukovych, in February 2014.

Will russian soldiers "go on vacation" in the US?
Will some government department in Moscow send instructions to the US-media what kind of stories are supposed to be written, which journalists are to be blacklisted, and that the Top 3 stories shall be sent to the editor in Moscow for corrections every Thursday?

Based on what I think Putin's game is (i.e. the destabilization of the USA) his comment is intended to further delegitimize Trump's presidency (essentially confirming that he has Kompromat), and doing that further destabilizes American politics. Essentially Putin's work has given America a president that it can't get rid of, and that fewer and fewer people regard as legitimate. It's a perfect recipe for political paralysis. Even worse he's created a no-win situation around impeachment. Impeachment is the only legal avenue to remove Trump, but the GOP can't afford to do that or their party collapses, so they'll refuse to impeach - meaning an illegitimate president stays in power. And if they assassinate him the whole country goes into convulsions.

Putin must be mighty pleased with himself and Aleksandr Dugin for creating such a nightmare scenario for the US

Who is Aleksandr Dugin, you may ask...
Read what his book says about dealing with America:

Interesting.

Trump: I assume A.J.’s clean. I hope he’s clean.

Benza: Meanwhile, he bangs Russian people…

Stern: Russian people?

Trump: Who are you talking about, Russian people, A.J.? I don’t know anything.

Benza: He used to call me when I was a columnist and say, “I was just in Russia, the girls have no morals, you gotta get out there.” [Trump’s] out of his mind.

to worry about once the old USSR incorporates as the USSASR. Over half of Americans thought it was a big pain in the ass to get out and vote, so that problem will be solved. And with Putin at the helm (Trump will conveniently have disappeared by that time), we won't even have to worry about constitutions or amendments or any of that silliness. All problems will be solved at the top.

And you guys were worried.

Putin may be the world's most despicable dictator but he really doesn't understand anything about America's culture. In his pathetic attempt shore up support for his sock puppet Trump - he decides to pick on prositiutes? Hey Vlad - lay off the working girls -ok?

If you are groping for examples of the deplorable and dispicable - how about Russia's role in Syria, or the Ukraine, or your merciless treatment of "political" prisoners. How about the blood on your hands?

It's like that old saying - "With friends like this who needs enemies."

What is he foreshadowing here? To "not let Trump take office" implies an intent by someone(s) to forestall the swearing-in in some way, or somehow remove Trump from the picture altogether (such as by physical harm, perhaps)?

It's conceivable that with moles in our agencies, and/or hacked access to our security systems, Putin could have knowledge of a shoe about to drop, or of a planned attempt at something. He could be planning to take some sort of action himself. It sounds like he's preemptively placing blame for something, so he can say "I told you so" when it happens.

Or maybe I'm overthinking this.
