Priebus defends Flynn: 'He didn't do anything wrong'

Source: The Hill

White House chief of staff Reince Priebus has defended former national security adviser Michael Flynn, saying President Trump's former aide "didn't do anything wrong" in discussing sanctions with Russia's ambassador.

"Michael Flynn as N.S.A. director, his job is to talk to foreign leaders, yes, including the Russian ambassador and other ambassadors across the world," Priebus said in an interview airing on CBS's "Face the Nation."

"And other people, other experts have also said the same thing, that there was not a darn thing wrong with what he was doing by communicating to these other leaders."

"He didn't do anything wrong," Priebus responded. "There's nothing wrong with having a conversation about sanctions."

If so, then why did Flynn lie to the FBI? Also, why did Trump fire Flynn?

Forget the tired fake news label. What we're now seeing is fake accountability. In other words, non-existent.

Michael Flynn was the National Security Advisor - a member of the president's staff.

This is Admiral Michael Rogers, the Director of the National Security Agency. If he has ever spoken to the Russians, it sure as hell wasn't to put the King of the Oompa-Loompas in the White House.

How is it not wrong to lie to the Vice President? Also, if he had done nothing wrong why did he lie to the Vice President? Didn't his call(s) with the Russian Ambassador take place before he was made the National Security Advisor?

Why did he lie to the vice-president?

The NSA should be truthful to those he is advising. Why did he lie about this? Why?

Only that at the time it was illegal to have such a conversation because
we had a different President at the time.
