A middle schooler faces charges after throwing a block of wood at President Trump's motorcade Friday afternoon in Palm Beach, Fla., police say.

The child confessed to throwing a small block of wood at the motorcade as it headed down Southern Boulevard shortly before 2 p.m., according to a statement from the Palm Beach Police Department, who is working with the Secret Service on the investigation. The child implicated four other students in the incident.

Police received a report Friday that Trump's motorcade "had been struck by what was believed to be a small hard object," according to the statement. He was passing through Palm Beach on his way to his Mar-a-Lago resort nearby, where he spent part of the weekend............................

You guys are kind of idiots! It was 2 PM on a Friday afternoon. Pretty decent chance the school took the kids to watch the motorcade, just like for a homecoming parade. If not then the parents had the kid out of school. So it's either bad parenting(ok bad parenting regardless) or bad teacher, not watching students closely enough. But the "kid has heart" comment by Adam is borderline retarded! Same kid throwing the same object at Obama and Adam would declare the kid a racist. LMFAO!!

Mike Thomas I beg your pardon. Both my children read, do arithmetic and write better than most adults. They are also fluent in Italian and are learning to speak Mandarin. For fun, my 10 year old does extra PowerPoint presentations about things she independently researches. She learned to do this at PUBLIC school. My 8th grade son is currently taking 11th grade chemistry. He is part of an accelerated science and math program offered by the PUBLIC school. Are you saying American children are stupid? As far as I'm concerned my children have been very well educated here in the USA. If you hate it here so much, why don't you just leave? You people are little parrots who just repeat what you've been fed. None of your comments are ever insightful, offer solutions or meant to be constructive. Maybe my daughter could teach you a little bit about facts and research. However, I have the haunting suspicion that your mind is devoid of any reasonable thought process.

Southern Blvd is in WEST Palm beach and this occurred near my old junior high, now Conniston Middle School which is maybe 4 miles due east from Palm Beach International.

When I attended the school they had no AC, believe it or not, except for the Admin building and Library. Didn't want the books molding, I guess...

Across the street is a Publix supermarket and small strip mall/shopping center with a Post Office. People are starting to gather there in front to protest when he arrives and leaves, Moran thought we were "supporters" last week.

His visits are causing serious traffic problems for cars and aircraft both. Now they're building a heliport at Mar-a-Largo to really screw things up all so he won't have to be inconvenienced by seeing us on his way to and from.
