'Abortion reversal' bill clears Indiana panel for 2nd time

Source: Associated Press

TUESDAY, FEB 21, 2017 10:30 AM EST

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — An Indiana House panel has approved an amended version of a measure it passed last week that would require abortion providers to give women considering drug-induced abortions information on stopping the procedure midway — even though that process is scientifically disputed.

The so-called “abortion reversal” measure passed Tuesday in a 7-6 vote that exactly mirrored the vote last Wednesday, with two Republicans joining Democrats in voting no.

The proposal requires the State Health Department to create a form with information on the potential “reversal.” Critics say the method hasn’t been sufficiently vetted.

The panel approved changes to clean up the bill’s language, including clarifying the “reversal” time period and asking for redaction on forms that abortion providers send to the state if they are released to the public.

"I am a doctor sir. This here special liquid, bottled in far away Lands by people you think are special, will reverse abortions, cure blindness and halt cancer!
Warning: may cause minor skin rash, mild gas and slight tickle in your throat. Also suicidal thoughts and tendencies, organ rejection and in some cases, instant death."

4. Do you remember when they appointed a veterinarian to head up the Office of Women's Health?

FDA Commissioner Lester Crawford has appointed a man who has spent the majority of his career in the office of veterinary medicine to the position of acting director of the Office of Women's Health at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

And just because we miss her so, here's Molly Ivin's take on the appointment:

AUSTIN, Texas — So here are all the liberals going into a giant snit just because George W. Bush appointed a veterinarian to head the women's health section of the Food and Drug Administration. For Pete's sake, you whiners, the only reason he chose the vet is because Michael Brown wasn't available.

If you recall, Ol' Heckuva-Job Brownie had to go home, walk his dog and then hug his wife after exhausting himself in his triumphal handling of Hurricane Katrina. Otherwise, he'd have been Bush's first pick.

Now, even the veterinarian doesn't get the job — just because those professional feminists raised such a stink. What's wrong with a vet? They know a lot about birth and udders and stuff. If the mother is having trouble giving birth, you grab the baby by the legs and pull it out — it's not brain surgery. Then you worm 'em, you tag 'em and you spray for fleas. Why the fuss?

They're willing to promote an untested procedure, without thought of the young woman's health, just to make a partisan point. They have shown total disdain and actual hatred for anyone having an abortion, regardless of the circumstances.

Evil hate filled assholes!

and they are still confused by the clitoris. They can't explain the functions of either the fallopian tubes or ovaries, and periods remain a complete mystery to them. Yet their ignorance is allowed to harm women. These ignorant fucks are allowed to create laws governing our bodies.

In a chicken plant there are workers who "pull craws" - using your index and middle finger in a curled fashion to reach inside the neck and pull out the windpipe. Well, yank is more like it. Hard work, rough on your hands and fingers...not to mention the back. Workers have to pull quickly as the birds rapidly go by on shackles. Often the workers will suffer a lot of swelling and their fingers will contract into a claw shape on their own. Please note: processing could be different now - it's been years since I've been in a plant.

I have a point...

After reading the article in the OP, I'd like to pull me some craws....just not from chickens and I'm not talking windpipes either.
