Hillary Clinton: Get Out Of Congress 'If You Can't Stand The Heat'

Source: Talking Points Memo

By ESME CRIBB Published FEBRUARY 22, 2017, 4:35 PM EDT

Hillary Clinton on Wednesday told members of Congress who are avoiding their constituents that if they can't stand the heat, they should "get out of the...Congress."

Clinton linked to an opinion piece by the editorial board of the Kansas City Star addressing senators and representatives who are holding fewer town halls in order to avoid irate constituents.

"Members of Congress signed up for this when they ran for office. They were elected to serve," the paper's editorial board wrote. "Representing the people means showing up, even when the exchange may not be among friends."

Claimed they weren't his constituents -couldn't be from his district.

The contrast Clinton before his faux committee, and Chaffetz in front of his constituents is stark.

from Congress, the Republican party, and her own Democratic party than any of these cowardly pampered bozos. They seem like spoiled children compared to her, led by the biggest spoiled brat of all!

with the corporate media not exposing their perfidy as they sell out the American people--rob and poison us--to satisfy their billionaire backers.

Scum can't abide being exposed for the sellouts they are.

are owned indirectly by Putin, and have no real sense of obligation to the people who were duped into voting for them. My opinion is that the Russian Oligarchy has channeled money through the Koch Bros for years. Then the Koch Bros. donate the money to the Super PACS who then buy the candidates. I don't think that the Russian connection begins or ends with Don the Con. Just my opinion..
