On Tuesday, Trump traveled to Capitol Hill to meet with a number of House Republicans who are reluctant to pass a Republican health care bill that has been championed by Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI).


According to CNN, Trump began his meeting with Republicans by congratulating himself for the crowd size at a Monday night rally in Louisville, Kentucky. The president warned that the value of his earned media would be diminished if the health care bill fails.

“We won’t have these crowds if we don’t get this done,” he reportedly complained. “I honestly think many of you will lose your seats in 2018 if you don’t get this done.”

The president reportedly left the meeting without taking questions.

You can argue that the worst ISIS killer is better in that at least that killer's killing and harm is based in a belief in something other than his or herself. And yes, I hate the ISIS killer just as much as I hate a businessman who knowingly harms others the way this guy does.

Trump will cause or try to cause massive human suffering and will do so purely to feed his ego.

For a while there he claimed he had nothing to do with this law and didn't want his name on it. It doesn't address what he campaigned on at all. Not even close.

Any other Republican would go after tax cuts or carpet bomb ISIS or something a Republican could do.

That's the only reason I think he's pushing this now. And I agree that the GOP will lose even more seats than the party in power usually loses in the midterm election, if it passes this bill. And I'm afraid that the GOP is going to try to ensure that the low-information GOP voters don't see any changes until after the 2018 election. So I'm hoping it passes and takes effect immediately.
