Trump's approval rating craters in poll and his base is the culprit

Source: Business Insider

President Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen to 37% — a new low, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released on Wednesday.

The poll found that the president is losing crucial support among Republicans, men, and white voters.

The survey of 1,056 voters from across the country found that Trump's approval among Republican voters dropped to 81%, from 91% of those surveyed in a similar Quinnipiac poll two weeks ago. His disapproval rating jumped from 5% to 14%.

The poll showed those in Trump's most supportive demographics — male and white voters — are increasingly unhappy with his performance. Forty-three percent of men approved of Trump — down from 49% in the last poll, while 44% of white voters approved, also down from 49%.

At first you think it's funny someone is actually that stupid, then it's scary because you realize they aren't the only ones.

The Talibornagains believe he's "God's Emissary", the GOP team players are either Randriod true believers or Birchers just want an excuse to yell "Loser" at the Democrats and Liberals, and the Nihilists just want everything to blow up, and are happy with the confusion the Drumpf administration is sowing all over the world.

As long as he's with the GOP, he'll always end up with 25% - 30% support between the Talibornagains and Team Players. As soon as he starts losing power, the Nihilists will wander off and support the next shiny destructive tool as soon as one pops up; they're never going to stick with anything but their own egos in the long run.

It's a rejection of changes they have seen in the last decade or so that they don't like. Dems and most Repubs promised to continue the status quo.

Trump promised to smash the status quo, smash the establishment, reject the media, make America great again, or at least do something completely different from all the other politicians they've been hearing from.

If you don't like the way things are, vote for change. A lot of them won't like what happens to them. but they feel powerful knowing that they caused it to happen in defiance of all expectations.

It's also a major rejection of us as liberals: diversity, feminism, gay rights, transgender, environment, globalization, education, etc.

I am a white male, and so to my fellow white males who voted for Trump, how are all those new imaginary jobs that Trump has brought back from China? Is the rust belt experiencing full employment? Oh, and by the way, if you're not happy now, I can assure you it's only going to get worse from here on out.
