RNC swag bag has Romney book with unaltered health care section

TAMPA — All credentialed media checking into the Republican National Convention are being given a swag bag featuring brochures and items from various sponsors such as sunglasses and a pocket fan. But the bag also contains a copy of the original hardcover version of Mitt Romney’s book No Apology, in which he suggested his approach to health care in Massachusetts could be accomplished in the rest of the country.

The allusion was later altered for the paperback version of the book, a change that became a contentious issue during the Republican primary.

Did somebody not realize what was in the book, or is this evidence that Romney is going to move to the center now that the primareis are over?

The republicans I know, at least the rabid ones, don't give me that vibe...

One thing you can bet on is this is turning campaign contributions into suffimg for offshore accounts.

Prairie Lights bookstore in Iowa City, Iowa, back in 2010. I love the name of the bookstore, a hat tip to Lawrence Ferlinghetti's City Lights bookstore in San Francisco, for sure.

Oh, our cool president passed on those books but purchased books for his girls and a pop-up book for his press secretary's six-year-old.

This turd has been in the bargain section of B&N's site for a looong time now. 1 year maybe? It's still there, so evidently people are rushing out to buy it.

They should've used the same Sharpie to fix all the sections that Mitt has flipped on.

He probably bought tons of the books the first week it was released to try to get it on the bestseller charts. It's gotta be the #1 bestseller of the Big Lots cut-out bin though.
