Video: MSNBC's Chuck Todd Calls Mitt Romney "Irresponsible" for Attacking Pres. Obama Over Deaths

MSNBC host Chuck Todd slammed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who attacked President Obama shortly after the deaths of the U.S. ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, and three members of his staff.

Several hours before a protest that left Stevens dead, the U.S. Embassy in Cairo released a statement condemning the film “Innocence of Muslims' that attacked the Prophet Muhammad.

On Tuesday morning, MSNBC host Chuck Todd said “The only way to get attention is to say something a little outrageous. And I have to say, I am stunned they put out this release when they did, before we knew all the facts, before daybreak, before we know for sure whether there are going to be protests that spread around the world.”

“It seemed to be an irresponsible thing to do. And it’s one that I’m fascinated to see this morning that the Romney campaign, no mention. Suddenly they put out a debt statement. I have a feeling they wish they had that moment back, they wish they had that statement back."

"I understand where they feel like they are, they are chasing news cycles right now and they feel as if they have to be involved in every news cycle and every event if the president is involved in order to look on equal footing. But that was a bad mistake they made last night.”

he is as much as a flip flopper as Mittens and Lyin'Ryan with the rest of the pathological wing of the GOP party. I still remember what he said about the GOP convention being multicultural which was an insane comment.

Romney's response shows me he would have a hair trigger, would not try to calm a situation down first. Look towards a peaceful end before you pull out your guns and start blasting. He seems to be itching for a war, any war. anywhere. He is not experienced enough to handle situations such as this. His words too could have calmed the situation, United front, a UNITED AMERICA standing for peace and respect. Instead Romney went for the shiny object, must be the Greed.

I do not believe this joke of man has any class nor any idea how to handle the egg shell diplomacy of world affairs. He is not only trying to hide who he is, but he is hiding all the real cronies who want a world war. Good for Chuck Todd and hope more people will take issue on this!

You know when chuckie the toad (or, as my husband calls him - Fuck Turd) denounces a GOP hopeful, you KNOW that GOP'er is in trouble. mark halperin the same way. Really had to clench the ol' sphincter muscles today because even he had to admit that wrongney blew it horrendously.

Anyway - glad you're here - we need you!!!

Now get to work.
