Esper 'definitely not voting for Trump,' leaves door open for Biden

Former Trump Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Friday said he is not voting for his old boss but left the door open to voting for President Biden. “I’m not there yet,” Esper said after being asked by comedian Bill Maher on his HBO show, “Real Time with Bill Maher,” if he would vote for the current president. “I’m definitely not voting for [former President Trump], but I’m not there yet.”

Trump announced that he fired Esper from his position as Defense Secretary back in November 2020, following Biden being projected to win the 2020 presidential race. He has since become a critic of his former superior, calling him a “threat to democracy” on the recent third anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

“And yes, I do regard him as a threat to democracy, democracy as we know it, our institutions, our political culture, all those things that make America great and have defined us as, you know, the oldest democracy on this planet,” Esper said to CNN’s Jim Acosta in January.

Esper said on Maher’s show Friday that “every day that Trump does something crazy, the door… to voting for Biden opens a little bit more.”

As I said in another post, I don't have time to read nor listen to people that are still on the fence or waffling about their support for Biden.

This could be a close election. Anybody sitting on the fence should be warmly welcomed, even if it means you don't get the satisfaction of dumping on former adversaries.

7. No. It's not. Biden already has enough delegates to be the DNC Democratic Nominee.

So, that means, as per DU rules, we MUST be all-in on Biden. EVERY ONE.

Any post or anyone that has the attitude of "well... I don't know. I don't want Trump, but I don't know if I want Biden..." goes against that.

Let them vote 3rd party. No Labels? Mmmm-kay. Sure, ok. RFK Jr.? The dude pretty much disowned by his own family?

People in 2016 did that with Jill Stein. The "Doctor" that didn't believe in science. What did that get you? If you haven't learned your lesson by now, it is doubtful you ever will.

Also, this dude was KNEE DEEP in Dumpy land and is still waffling.
