Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) will deliver the Republican Party's response to President Obama's State of the Union address next Tuesday.

The decision to tap Rubio for the response was announced by House Speaker John Boehner's (R-Ohio) office on Wednesday.

The most any Democrat has ever gotten, mostly from younger people, but I suspect that the Florida attempts at minority voter suppression might have had something to do with it. The older expatriates that were Republican strong are starting to kick the bucket, like all of the GOP's main supporters. The younger cubanos seem a bit more liberal.
