Donald Trump to give keynote address at Oakland County(MI) Republican Party fund-raiser

Donald Trump — business mogul, reality show star and one of the chief antagonizers of President Barack Obama — will be the keynote speaker at the Oakland County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day dinner on May 21.

The dinner will be at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Tickets range from $75 to $750. It’s the primary fund-raiser for the county party each year.

“The Lincoln Day Dinner is a tradition Oakland County has celebrated for 124 years, and it is only fitting that our keynote address is delivered by one of the most celebrated and recognizable entrepreneurs and philanthropists in the world,” said Farmington Hills businessman David Trott, chairman of the Lincoln Day dinner.

Trump, a real estate developer, is also the star of the reality show

I don't believe they're actually inviting this blowhard to a fundraiser. There are pocket of tea party in Oakland, but it's mostly country club types and they're going allow themselves to being same room with this tool?

I don't doubt he might give away money now and then but I have never heard Donald Trump described as a philanthropist. Kind of like calling Jack the Ripper a surgeon.
