Doug Guetzloe found guilty of failing to file tax returns

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/os-doug-guetzloe-irs-tax-trial-orlando-20120208,0,6578991.story

Doug Guetzloe was found guilty Wednesday afternoon of failing to file tax returns — the latest setback for the Central Florida political consultant.

A 12-member jury deliberated for roughly 30 minutes before finding Guetzloe guilty of two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file tax returns. He remained expressionless as the verdict was read.

Guetzloe faces as much as two years in federal prison and will be sentenced May 21.

...

Federal prosecutors said he failed to file returns on almost $187,000 in income in 2005, and more than $188,000 in 2006.

He's notorious for opposing any and every single tax under the sun.

He's one of those hypocrites who thinks that everything should be handled at the local level - but then opposes every single local initiative to pay for those things.

Actually, being an Orlando resident, Geutzloe has been a very positive influence in opposing sales taxes - the very worst type of tax on the working poor. Our African-American State Senator Gary Siplin is a strong supporter of Guetzloe and Sen. Siplin helped Guetlzoe on the last big sales tax battle. Doug also uses his radio show to advocate for Food not bombs and the downtrod. He fights the downtown establishment all the time and that's why he's targeted.

He's more blue and red.

And that includes pay from entities with business before the court.
