Elizabeth Warren: 'Hostage Taking' Is All Republicans Have Left

Sen. Elizabeth Warren railed against Republican "hostage tactics" during a speech on the government shutdown.

"In a democracy, hostage tactics are the last resort for those who can’t otherwise win their fights through elections, can’t win their fights in Congress, can’t win their fights for the Presidency, and can’t win their fights in Courts," Warren said. "For this right-wing minority, hostage-taking is all they have left – a last gasp of those who cannot cope with the realities of our democracy."

I take each moment as it is. Trying to predict the future drives me nuts. Nobody needs that.

Does that mean I won't hollar at the Dems demanding that they hold firm? Of course not. I will shout with the rest of you that they stand firm and make the GOP lay in the bed they've made.

But I'm not going to jump to conclusions.

the poor tune into Faux News everyday to be brainwashed into believing that good is evil and evil is good. They want a country where we dumb down our children so that they will easier to control. Where every issue is black or white and they are never wrong. One where illegal invasions are legitimate wars that the poor people's kids are sent off to risk their lives and kill innocent people, under the guise of 'defending our freedom'. They don't want America, they want Acirema (america spelled backward) where everything is backward and the opposite of what this nation once stood for. They want us all to LIVE backward. What do you get if you spell LIVE backward. That pretty much describes these people.

2014 elections should have plastered billboards with all the success from ACA and the Dems
should be reminding voters big time of the measures the GOP have taken of late
to prevent the 99% from obtaining affordable health care.
