Source: BBC

China has denounced Japan's new national security strategy, accusing it of military expansion.

Defence Ministry spokesman Geng Yansheng said in a statement that the move would increase regional tensions, state news agency Xinhua reported.

Earlier this week, Japan said it would buy advanced equipment including drones and amphibious vehicles.

It comes as Tokyo is embroiled in a bitter row with Beijing over islands in the East China Sea that both claim.

WW2 is still in living memory. So I agree with what you literally wrote even though you mean it facetiously.

I study the Middle Ages, so anything since electricity is recent to me.

Or, and the Mukden Train incident where Japan took Manchuria. . .and the Marco polo Bridge incident which opned the door for the taking of Tianjin and Beijing.

No, Japan has never done shit to China. Just ask my wife's great grandmother who the Japanese army gang raped and left for dead in a roadside ditch in 1939 outside of Changzhou.

They claim portions of Korea are really part of China
They lay claim to Japanese islands
They claim Philippine and Vietnamese waters

Their spokesman can rot
