Hillary Clinton ducks shoe thrown at her during Las Vegas speech
Source: Las Vegas Sun
Maybe the shoe thrown at Hillary Rodham Clinton today at a Las Vegas convention were meant for the recycling bin?
During a speech to the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries meeting at Mandalay Bay, Clinton was the target of the projectile, which flew past her head.

"Good thing she didn't play softball like I did" Clinton quipped.

(5,082 posts)He could've gone after Bush Sr and that family would've been done. Same for Obama as he let GW off the hook. I hope everyone likes Jeb Bush our next president.

(47,211 posts)I love these kinds of posts, crystal balls and all. For one thing, you don't seem to want to factor in politics. Have you ever heard of politics? For a second thing, you want to assign the President powers he doesn't have so you can then blame him for failing to exercise them. Got any more good stuff?

(5,082 posts)I forgot democratic presidents are supposed to be powerless. Only republican ones always get what they want and drive events. My bad.

I've never seen such an threat.
If you have a link to back this up, I'd be curious to see it and willing to restate my observations.
Until then, I fail to believe it.

The shoe-thrower declined to give her name, but said she threw her shoe and "dropped" some papers. She was escorted out of the convention by security and convention organizers said police would be called.

I dont like a shoe thrown at Hillary, but I also dont think anyone should throw one at Cruz either. I guess thats the best way to put it.
