Casey Kasem's body is missing, lawyer says

SEATTLE -- A judge has granted Casey Kasem's daughter a temporary restraining order preventing the famous radio host's wife from cremating his remains, but it's unclear where those remains are or whether they've already been disposed of.

A lawyer for Kasem's daughter Kerri Kasem said Friday that when he went to give a Tacoma funeral home a copy of the restraining order, he was informed it no longer had the remains.

"They said they could not disclose where he had gone or where he would end up," said the lawyer, Scott Winship.

Tim Grant, funeral director at Gaffney Funeral Home & Cremation Services, confirmed Friday that Kasem's body was no longer there.

His second wife already hi-tailed it out of the country. I wonder how much money she was able to squirrel away in a Swiss bank account.

Snip

Now the young Williams is at the epicenter of a startling national tale: according to reports in The Boston Globe and The Boston Herald, and an accusation by Barbara Joyce Williams Ferrell, his half sister, Williams transferred his father's body from a Florida funeral home to a cryonics lab in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Ferrell told WBZ-TV in Boston that John Henry told her, ''We can sell Dad's DNA and people will buy it because they'd love to have little Ted Williamses.''

A longtime business associate of Ted Williams, who knows the family, said the concept of cryonics has been known for a while ''to a small circle around Ted.''

Ferrell said the thought of her father possibly being frozen ''makes me so sick, and it's not what my dad had wanted.''

and she was an actress in her own right. Don't let the professional Dolly Parton look fool you. Also an inventor with a bunch of patents to her credit.

My sympathies are with the wife.

12. Make Sure Your Wishes Are Written Down

It is beginning to seem that if a person has certain wishes thos wishes need to be written down before that becomes sick. Even the smallest things like how and where that person wants to be buried needs to be written down. That should be done especially if one has been married multiple times and has multiple children from those marriages.
