The West Virginia Republican Party has canceled an event where controversial conservative filmmaker, author and felon Dinesh DSouza was slated to speak days before his sentencing on a federal crime.
On the eve of such an exciting election year in West Virginia, we want to ensure that our dinner is an event for all conservatives to celebrate, party chairman Conrad Lucas said Wednesday afternoon.

State Democratic Party Chairman Larry Puccio bashed the GOPs decision to bring DSouza to the state.
While it is an insult to West Virginians, it is no surprise that the Republican Party is bringing in Dinesh DSouza, an admitted felon who famously violated campaign finance laws, Puccio said in a statement

Only took hours for this to blow up in their face. Their U.S. Senate candidate, Shelley Moore Capito, was scrambling to get away from this thing and not be associated with it.

Lol, yes, but I would have waited until AFTER the Repugs had their dinner with him, and then blew the whistle on what scum the repugs keep. A give a man enough rope to hang him self moment.

I Must Not Think Bad Thoughts Lyrics
The facts we hate
We'll never meet
Walking down the road
Everybody yelling, "Hurry up, hurry up!"
But I'm waiting for you
I must go slow
I must not think bad thoughts
When is this world coming to?
Both sides are right
But both sides murder
I give up
Why can't they?
I must not think bad thoughts
The civil wars and the uncivilized wars
Conflagrations leap out of every poor furnace
The food cooks poorly and everyone goes hungry
From then on, it's dog eat dog, dog eat body and body eat dog
I cant go down there
I cant understand it
I'm a no good coward
An american, too
A North American, that is
Not a South or a Central or a Native American
Oh, I must not think bad thoughts
I'm guilty of murder of innocent men
Innocent women, innocent children, thousands of them
My planes, my guns, my money, my soul,
My blood on my hands, it's all my fault
I must not think bad thoughts
I must not think bad thoughts
The facts we hate
You'll never hear us
I hear the radio is finally gonna play new music
You know, the British invasion
But what about The Minutemen, Fleasheaters, DOA, Big Boys and The Black Flag?
Will the last American band to get played on the radio please bring the flag?
Please bring the flag!
Glitter-disco-synthesizer night school
All this noble savage drum drum drum
Astronauts go back in time
To hang out with the cave people
It's about time
It's about space
It's about some people in the strangest places

I was sorting through my vinyl a couple weeks ago with my 20 yr old daughter (for ebay). When we ran an across an X album, it did NOT go in the sale pile.
I told her about Exene and Jon Doe and their cover of Breathless etc. She wasn't interested. Guess you had to have been there. Sigh.

Not sure what she thought of it. She's a classical person but does listen to a lot of other stuff. And she seemed to really like the boots the guys from the Romantics were wearing on their album cover.

(57,586 posts)I think any issues with Mr. DSouza on that front is better left for discussion with he and his legal team, Lucas said, when asked if DSouzas impending imprisonment was considered when the GOP booked him.
I just can't take this anymore. Please. In the eighth grade I knew better than to say that.
