(8,360 posts)was securely removed from the building and put into an ambulance now headed to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Ben Kruskal, chief of infectious disease at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, said in a statement. Kruskal said the patient had been to Liberia.
The building was closed briefly but has now re-opened, the statement said. We are working closely with the Department of Public Health who will determine next steps.

(24,411 posts)Our family of four caught a cold/bad virus. We all feel horrible, look even worse than horrible and our coughing sounds like our lungs are going to come up any minute.
We don't have Ebola, but we feel as if we do. We look like we do.
Good point about cold and flu season being upon us. People who are sick could panic, as well as others who observe people coughing and hacking. That could be worsened if there are more US cases, which seems likely.

Silly reactions by people worked up by a media that earns ratings by scaring fools.
