Injunction requested against fracking rules

An environmental group is seeking an injunction against fracking rules approved Nov. 6.
The injunction request by Southern Illinoisans Against Fracturing our Environment is being taken under advisement by Madison County Circuit Judge Barbara Crowder.
Lawyers with SAFE expect a decision within 36 hours.
Annette McMichael, SAFE communication director, said if the judge invalidates the rules the Illinois Department of Natural Resources would have to begin the rule-making process all over again....
